Main Lecture Summary:
How do the psychics do it? If you've been impressed with the way you've seen psychics and mediums pick up on impressions on TV, but don't think you could ever share their gifts, think again! A lot of psychic ability involves learning to listen to intuition and instinctual reactions that everyone experiences at least sometimes in their lives. For this workshop, come join Michelle Belanger (guest investigator regularly seen on "Paranormal State") and the Paranormal Research Society as we learn about the tools some psychics use to help get themselves over that hump of inner doubt. Learn to focus your intuition, build objectivity, and discover the real secrets behind items like pendulums and dowsing rods. Feel free to bring your own!
Mini-Lecture Topic: "Case Studies: Demonic Phenomena"
Mini-Lecture Summary: PRS Director Ryan Buell will present a brief yet harrowing look in to some of paranormal histories greatest demonic cases, as well as some of PRS'. The goal for this lecture is to understand the cultural and spiritual context of these claims. It's not meant to take sides or prove the demonic's existence (that is left up to you). It is simply an objective look in to the darker side of the paranormal, and how to deal with people who claim to be experiencing demonic hauntings.
